We are committed to protecting the privacy of all learners, students, and users. This document outlines the types of information we collect, how it is used, and the steps we take to safeguard your data.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Our application is designed around an offline-first, privacy-centric architecture.

• No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide your name, phone number, or email address to access any educational feature, formula, shortcut, or quiz.
• No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, government IDs, or home addresses.

2. Device Permissions and On-Device Processing

To provide specific interactive features, the app may request the following permissions:

• Camera Access (android.permission.CAMERA): Used solely for the Math Scanner feature. When you capture a picture of a handwritten or printed equation, the image is analyzed entirely on-device using Google ML Kit's on-device Text Recognition. Your photos are NEVER uploaded to any remote server or stored in the cloud.
• Storage / Photo Picker: Allows you to select an existing image from your device gallery for OCR calculation. The image is processed in temporary device RAM and discarded immediately after text extraction.

3. Local Storage (Room Database)

All educational progress, saved bookmarks, quiz history, weak topic analyses, and calculator inputs are saved locally on your device in an encrypted Room SQLite database. This information never leaves your phone unless you choose to submit an error report.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Collection

To keep the app free and maintain stability, we integrate industry-standard third-party SDKs:

A. Firebase Services (Google LLC)

• Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash logs, stack traces, and device state at the time of a crash to help us fix bugs.
• Firebase Analytics: Collects aggregate, non-personally identifiable usage statistics (e.g., app opens, feature engagement) to optimize app performance.
• Firebase Firestore: Delivers read-only content updates (new formulas, shortcuts). When online, the app checks content version timestamps.

B. Advertising Partners

The app displays advertisements to support ongoing development and keep all educational content free:

• Google AdMob: Serves banner, native, and transition interstitial ads. AdMob may process your device's Advertising ID and general device information according to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Meta Audience Network (via Mediation): May serve mediated bids in compliance with Meta's developer policies.

You can control or reset your Google Advertising ID at any time in your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID.

5. User Content Reporting

If you encounter a mathematical error or typo and choose to submit a report using the in-app "Report / রিপোর্ট" button, only the content ID, error category, and your optional feedback message are transmitted to Firestore. No personal data is attached to content reports.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application provides general mathematics educational resources suitable for high school, college, and competitive exam students. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe any personal data has inadvertently been collected, please contact us immediately for prompt deletion.

7. Data Security and Retention

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect any transmitted diagnostic data. Because all learning history is saved locally, uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in your Android settings will permanently delete all your local bookmarks and progress data.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. We encourage users to review this page periodically. Any updates are effective immediately upon being published on this URL.
